We are the ONLY Tibetan Terrier breeder in the country to have this title! Tremendous thanks to the AKC for acknowledging what I do for my dogs in regards to genetic health testing, my winning records, being an exceptional mentor for my puppy people, along with several other criteria used in determining this privilege.

Maddie wins the top 20 invitational!

Maddies breaks another record

Maddie breaks an almost 30 year record -- set back in the early 1980's -- by becoming the ALL TIME TOP GROUP WINNING BITCH IN BREED HISTORY! Ri Lee Kennels is home to three of the top four breeder owner handled group winning bitches in breed history.... However, on Saturday, September 12, 2009, by winning the Group under Mrs. Toddie Clark (Rempel, Canada, BOB), Maddie surpassed yet another record previously held by a bitch who was professionally handled! Maddie went on to win the Group again the following day, under Mrs Loraine Boutwell (Group/Best, BOB Clark), and topped everything off by going BEST IN SHOW!

“Maddie, you are a dream come true. I couldn't have asked for anything more this weekend. I love you my sweet girl! You are simply the BEST!”

Maddie makes history bar

Ri Lee Tibetan Terriers, Registered resides on a beautifully wooded, private piece of property located just 20 minutes north of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Along with several tree lined and fenced acres, there is a spring fed pond for the dogs to play around and swim in - as do mine. They have a happy-go-lucky life here, and it exemplifies what I search for in a home when placing puppies. Ri Lee Kennels is also a fully equipped boarding facility.

All my puppies are born, raised, and live in my home so they are very well socialized and mannered. (Please refer to the many comments from past satisfied customers.) They are exposed to many different situations to ensure they are well adjusted before they are placed.

Please know that when you purchase a Ri Lee Tibetan Terrier, your puppy's parents have gone through extensive genetic testing before being used in any type of breeding program. The TTCA requires, at a minimum, that CERF (eyes) and OFA Hip testing be done and a dog not be used for breeding prior to the age of two. Ri Lee Tibetans also goes through Cardio, BAER (hearing), Patella, Elbows, Thyroid, PLL and NCL testing. This testing may be verified by looking at each dog's health clearances listed on their individual pages on my website. These clearances are linked directly to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals website so there is no misconception about what testing has been completed on each dog. Because the site is maintained by the OFA, you may also review any health testing which has been completed on any dog in my breeding program as well.

*Note: Please realize that nothing can guarantee a dog will be healthy their entire life, however I want my customers to know I am doing everything I can to breed sound dogs.

In the show ring, Ri Lee Kennels has set many breed records on the way to the top. Currently Maddie is following in the championship footsteps of her stunning grandmother Liz and flashy great aunt Stella, both of whom enjoyed being #1. Maddie is the third bitch in a row produced by Ri Lee Tibetan, to have won multiple Best In Shows. It is humbling to know my kennel is the only one to hold this record.

Ri Lee Kennels also boasts over 60 champions of record to date. This has been possible because of my vision about how best to produce the most healthy, genetically sound, Tibetan Terrier possible via extensive genetic testing and attention to bloodline. Beauty cannot only be considered on the outside, but on the inside as well.

Thank you for visiting the pages of Ri Lee Tibetan Terriers, Registered.

Ri Lee Kennels is proud to help in the genetic research testing of PLL and NCL for finding a DNA marker for PRA by contributing and donating samples from my dogs. Because of their ages, Jazz (18), Stetson (14), and Stella (9) they are prime candidates to help. (all of which were extremely healthy samples) We encourage other TT owners to do the same. Please contact Paige Winkler at Michigan State University 517 432 0144 or winkle38@cvm.msu.edu to make your donation as well.
